President & Operations
With a diverse background in IT, Finance, and Project Management, I bring a well-rounded blend of technical expertise, business insight, and organizational leadership. My experience across these fields has provided me with a strong understanding of operational structure, regulatory compliance, and the importance of accuracy in everyday processes. These skills have strengthened my ability to evaluate information critically, support informed decision-making, and contribute to long-term strategic goals. My project management background, particularly in Sales and Marketing, continues to enhance my effectiveness within our company, allowing me to coordinate initiatives with efficiency and clarity.
Currently, my primary focus is on overseeing the day-to-day operations of NEW DAY LFS. I work to elevate our organization’s presence within the local community and surrounding areas to increase marketing and branding. This includes collaborating with local businesses, building meaningful partnerships, and developing strategies designed to strengthen both visibility and trust. I take pride in creating thoughtful, relationship-driven approaches that resonate with Families and our Community Partners. I am deeply committed to supporting our Team as we help Seniors navigate important life transitions. Clear communication, problem-solving, and continuous improvement guide my daily efforts.
Our passion for serving others also stems from personal life experience. My wife, Mimi, and I were blessed to be Caregivers for my beloved Grandmother, who lived to 111 years old! Her love, wisdom, and unwavering faith continue to inspire everything we do and put God first.
Corey Vaillant
Senior Advisor
Corey brings over 20 years of diverse experience across the continuum of senior care services, from geriatric care management to operations leadership in Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation settings. Her career reflects a longstanding commitment to excellence in senior living, including many years as an Executive Director where she led with compassion, integrity, and a deep dedication to enhancing residents’ quality of life.
After years of serving older adults and their families inside the community, Corey is excited to shift her focus to serving the residents and families who are searching for a senior living community that is the perfect fit. Her knowledge of operations and the activities inside a community day to day affords her the incentive to truly support clients and families as they navigate changes and next steps through the maze of Senior Living.
Originally from Michigan, Corey and her family now reside in Texas. She earned a BA in Psychology from Michigan State University and a Master’s Degree in Applied Gerontology from the University of North Texas. Outside of her professional life, Corey enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, exploring new travel destinations, listening to live country music, and embracing every opportunity to learn and grow

With over 10 years of experience helping seniors and their families, Carmen has developed a deep
understanding of their needs and the importance of finding the right community. As a devoted wife and proud mother of three, she balances
her professional passion with caring for her own mother, giving her a personal perspective on the challenges families face when seeking quality senior care.
Her mission is to make the senior living search simple, supportive, and filled with heart. Through her work with New Day Lifestyle for Seniors, Carmen continues to guide families with honesty and care, helping them find comfort, connection, and peace of mind for the next chapter of their loved one’s journey.
