It All Started with Great Grandma…

We have cared for our Grandmother for nearly two decades!
She is currently 108 years old!!!! Her Faith is a large part of her life and always has been. She was very active and walked daily until a partial hip replacement at 104. Even though she is limited to a walker, she still remains active and mobile as possible.

She has always eaten healthy! Insisting on fresh fruits and veggies daily and limited processed foods.

Mrs. Odessa Bowie grew up with home cooked meals throughout her childhood. She has ALWAYS been a “positive soul” never getting angry or stressed over anything. She has attended Church for as long as we can remember and it is definitely an integral part of her lifestyle. Her beloved and Historic Church, St Paul United Methodist in Downtown Dallas has been monumental in her life along with her amazing Church Family Members!

We truly believe that has also greatly contributed to her longevity. Between her and our children, that makes FOUR (4) Generations! Great-Grandma has survived through Two (2) World Wars! She is an inspiration to hundreds of friends and family and the thousands who have heard of her!

MIMI TAPIA-BOWIE

Mrs. Mimi Tapia-Bowie has been married for over 2 Decades (20 years) and the mother of two. She is a native Texan and has worked in the Senior Care Industry for over 15 years and helped Thousands of Families in that time. Mimi has opened 3 Highly Rated Assisted Living, Independent Living and Memory Care Communities from the ground up. She has also helped train the many staff members of each in the ways of: Communication, Customer Service, and the Special Attention that Seniors require and deserve.

Her passion for helping Seniors is apparent from the moment you speak with her. There is satisfaction knowing that she is helping her clients find the proper “quality of care” they each deserve. There is also a unique skill she has in communicating with Seniors in the delicate manner they require to understand and accept this transition and move. Which is why she has received countless awards, recommendations, and heartfelt letters from the sons and daughters of the very Seniors she has helped. Listening to every question and concern of individual families is required in order to best assist them in choosing the correct Community.
